"Le vrai du faux" a campaign to raise awareness of the danger of infoxes.

LE VRAI DU FAUX. UNE CAMPAGNE POUR SENSIBILSER AU DANGER DES INFOX.

In addition to the coronavirus pandemic, the whole world is facing another pandemic: that of "infox" or fake news. Origin, spread, symptoms, treatment, test, vaccine... the craziest and most dangerous rumors are multiplying daily on social networks and in the media. A tidal wave so vast and serious that the WHO has given it a name: "infodemia".

In order to warn and alert public opinion, the Union francophone launched a competition aimed at young French-speaking creatives, who were able to propose awareness-raising advertising campaigns for the duration of the confinement.

 It was in this context that Rémy Maufangeas of the Serviceplan agency created the "Le vrai du faux" campaign.

Rémi Maufangeas explains:

"The idea is to bring everyone face to face with their responsibilities by denouncing the major role played by digital media in our access to information. Not everyone can become a journalist. It's important for everyone to be cautious and attentive to the sources of every piece of information they receive."
