Plan.Net deploys Book2day platform in France
Plan.Net France launches the deployment of a unique tool for points of sale. Book2day transforms health-related constraints into a privileged shopping experience for customers.
Covid-19 has changed consumer behavior: coming to the store has lost its spontaneity, and health-related distancing imposes major constraints on stores and services in terms of welcoming customers. Footfall in city-center stores during the decontamination phase was 59.8% down on the same period last year, according to data from the Stackr/Proco observatory.s [1].
With the support of a number of regions and local authorities, such as Rennes Métropole, which has released a 6.5-billion-euro budget to promote business recovery, Plan.Net France is rolling out Book2day, an application that enables customers to book their visit to a store to avoid peak hours and queues, but also to reserve a particular in-store service or charge.
Designed by Develon Group, Book2day has enabled retailers such as Bata and Douglas to welcome their customers with complete peace of mind, offering them a personalized welcome and exclusive services.
For store managers, the Book2day application offers numerous benefits:
- Define the maximum number of simultaneous accesses to a store;
- Choose the duration of reserved slots: 30, 60 and 90 minutes. The algorithm then automatically optimizes appointments according to duration.
- Define the number of accesses that can be reserved VS global simultaneous entries to grant access also to customers belonging to "protected" groups (doctors, carers, etc.).
- Build up a complete dashboard of your attendance, with detailed statistics
- Connect Book2day to its e-commerce platform via an API to enable the booking of exclusive services for customers.
