BMW puts an engine into its European communications

BMW Group has announced that it has chosen a group of agencies called "The Engine" to handle its communications in Europe. The Engine is a "constellation of agencies" built around the Dutch agency MediaMonks (part of Martin Sorrell's S4 Capital group) for creation and production, the Serviceplan group for technology and data aspects, as well as local adaptations of campaigns, and Berylls Strategy Advisors for transformation projects. This new organization will be operational from the last quarter of 2020 in the first two markets concerned, Germany and France, where Serviceplan was already in charge of com for the Bavarian brand. The new contract extends the agency's scope to include the Mini brand.
