Plan.Net France explores the world of Hypertext in As We May Link
Since the beginning of September, the Plan.Net France agency has been offering a series of articleson its blog ,exploring the world of Hypertext and examining our relationship with the Web one link at a time.
Starting with the founding concepts of the 1940s - and in particular Vannevar Bush's article "As We May Think" - each episode delves into how the Web influences our daily lives, and how our way of thinking influences the Net. How the brain works, scrolling, social networks, the commons, virtual reality... these are just some of the topics that will be covered in 8 episodes of As We May link, published weekly until early November.
As We May Link has already been the subject of a talk at the BlendWebMix conference in Lyon in June 2021. This exploration of the world of the Net, Hypertext and the commons can also be viewed online in the form of an illustrated Instagram feed on the @As_We_May_Link account.
With this exploration, Plan.Net continues its work of studying and sharing the Web, in line with its Digital Design for Humans promise carried since 2018: to be a responsible player in the impact of digital on individuals, in the short and long term. The impact on employees' daily lives, when we design work tools that are accessible online 24/7. The impact on consumers, when we orchestrate a communication campaign on social networks. The impact on society when we develop new tools accessible to all. The impact on the environment when we produce content that consumes energy and has a short lifespan...
