Morbihan (56) archives get a new look on the Web with Plan.Net Rennes
The latest in a long-standing collaboration between Rennes-based agency Plan.Net France and the Morbihan Departmental Council, the new Archives Départementales du Morbihan website has been launched (patrimoines-archives.morbihan.fr) and was unveiled at the end of September.
After the Domaine de Kerguehennec website went online in September (see news), the Plan.Net Rennes teams unveiled the new website of the Archives Départementales du Morbihan, the fruit of a new collaboration with the agency Tribu & Co.
For this development, the Conseil Départemental du Morbihan has once again called on the expertise of TYPO3 - Content Management System on which the new site is based - of the Plan.Net teams, but also to their ability to deploy different technologies, such as the Solr search engine or the direct connection with local news.
The Archives du Morbihan website provides access to over 7,000 years of history, and includes all the department's digitized documents.
