A new website developed by Plan.Net for the STAR network - Public transport service for the Rennes conurbation
Rennes Métropole's STAR network website gets a makeover! Clearer and more intuitive, the new transport portal for the Rennes metropolitan area was developed by the Rennes offices of Plan.Net France, in collaboration with Keolis Rennes, the network operator.
After the presentation site for line b of the Rennes metro in 2020 (see press release), digital design agency Plan.Net continues its collaboration with Keolis Rennes, operator of the Rennes public transport service (STAR).
The fruit of collaboration with several technology players and agencies (Latitude Cartagène, Voyelle, Smart Tribune, Bookbéo and BlueBT), the new star.fr website went live on January 11.
"The key words of this redesign were simplicity and accessibility. An itinerary search that can be accessed very quickly from the home page, a more intuitive fare search module, a completely revised navigation... everything has been designed to simplify the traveller's life."

The STAR network's new website is based on a CMS in which Plan.Net has acquired considerable expertise over the past 15 years. It prepares the ground for the opening of the new Rennes metro line, which will enter service in spring 2022.
