A new website for Kandella, designed by Plan.Net France
To coincide with the opening of its new address in downtown Rennes, Kandella unveils its new Web site (https://www.kandella.fr/). A site imagined and designed by the Plan.Net France teams, highlighting the brand's expertise in lighting and luminaires!
Founded in 2012, Kandella, a chain of stores specializing in lighting sales, is among the largest showrooms in Europe. With 3 stores in western France (Rennes and Saint-Malo), the brand also has its own design office specialized in lighting projects: Kavalery.
Following a competition held in the autumn of 2022, the Plan.Net France teams, based in Rennes and Neuilly-sur-Seine, were awarded the graphic and technical redesign of the Kandella website and its Kavalery design office.
"The watchword in our proposal for Kandella was clarity: clarity of design, of course, in line with Kandella's product offering, but also clarity in terms of UX and interface. Based on simple ergonomic codes, acquired by all Internet users, but without departing from the brand's well-established high-end identity."

Plan.Net's teams put a great deal of effort into the graphics, highlighting both the company's expertise and the products it recommends to its customers. The sober, predominantly black-and-white layouts give pride of place to visuals and the work of lighting designers. Visitors looking for inspiration will find a variety of content - advice, galleries and articles - to help them find the lighting fixtures that will brighten up their daily lives.
For this project, Plan.Net's creative and technical teams worked closely with Here We Are, the creative hub responsible for Kandella's brand strategy and identity since 2013.
"Plan.net was able to provide solid creative and technical responses. Their involvement and support was a real asset for the customer and the teams mobilized on the project."

The new Kandella site also features a simple, scalable technical architecture, which will enable it to support the company's future ambitions on the Internet.
