“Fortune favours the brave” by Crypto.com and Mediaplus

Mediaplus (media agency of the Serviceplan Group) launched Crypto.com, one of the most recognized and respected apps in cryptocurrency, on the Belgian market. Mediaplus was responsible for the mediastrategy, mediaplanning and mediabuying of this campaign. 

The creative message delivered in the campaign, “Fortune favours the brave”, aims to make a statement about the company and its founders and inspires people to explore the world of crypto and become the actors of their own destiny by being bold, smart and progressive. Oscar winner Matt Damon is the new face of the campaign. A 60-second commercial, creatively led by POD, features Damon taking viewers on a historical journey of brave men and women who’ve made a difference in the world, in the hope of inspiring people to “be their bravest selves.” This campaign intends to formally introduce the platform in Belgium and aims to accelerate the world’s transition to cryptocurrency.

The commercial, produced in 10 second, 30 second and 60 second formats, is being played in Belgian cinemas across the country and on national TV channels. Also, the sponsoring of finance and sport programmes (Sport Late Night, Studio Foot, Parlons Cash…) is part of the campaign, as well as print ads in all major newspapers and megaposters in Antwerp (Meir), Brussels (Rue Neuve, De Brouckère/Boulevard Anspach), and Liège.
