Leadership change at Mediaplus Suisse: Sarah Hammami takes over from Pascal Fröhli

21.10.2025

A leadership transition is underway at Mediaplus Suisse: Co-CEO Pascal Fröhli will leave Mediaplus Suisse at the end of the year, handing over responsibilities to Sarah Hammami. The current COO will form a strong leadership duo with Nathalie Diethelm going forward.

For four years, Pascal Fröhli has been at the helm of Mediaplus Suisse. He will leave the agency at the end of the year to take a personal sabbatical before pursuing new professional challenges. His successor as CEO will be Sarah Hammami. As of January 2026, she will lead the Swiss Mediaplus entity in tandem with Co-CEO Nathalie Diethelm, who, in her role as CEO of the Serviceplan Group Switzerland, also oversees the House of Communication with all its agency brands.

Fröhli joined Mediaplus in 2021, bringing his own agency to the table as co‑founder and partner of Mediakanzlei. He had established Mediakanzlei ten years earlier together with Rolf Suter. In 2021, Mediakanzlei and Mediaplus merged. Over the past five years, the 37-year-old has played a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating Mediakanzlei into the Mediaplus Group and driving the further development of the successfully merged agencies.

«I leave with both a smile and a tear,» says Pascal Fröhli. «Of course, I will miss the agency and my colleagues at Mediaplus Suisse and the House of Communication Zurich. But after more than 16 intense years full of challenges and achievements, now is the perfect moment for a break. The integration of the two agencies is fully complete, and with Sarah Hammami, we have an excellent internal successor. I am looking forward to several free months with my family, to further develop personally, and to bring my experience into new projects in the future.»

Matthias Brüll, Global CEO Mediaplus Group, states: «We sincerely thank Pascal for the excellent collaboration in recent years. With his dedication and expertise, he has significantly strengthened the Mediaplus Group in Switzerland and ensured the successful integration of Mediakanzlei. At the same time, we are very pleased to have found a skilled and visionary successor from within our own ranks in Sarah, who will continue the successful course and provide new momentum.»

Sarah Hammami brings more than 20 years of agency and media experience. She has served as COO of Mediaplus Suisse since June 2023, having previously spent nearly twelve years at Havas Media, most recently also as COO. Further stages in her career include Universal McCann and Tamedia AG. Her leadership partnership with Nathalie Diethelm is already well-established: the two worked closely and successfully together as CEO and COO at Havas Media.

As future Co-CEO, Sarah Hammami has a clear vision: «Pascal is handing over an excellent foundation that we will continue to build on. Our goal is to establish Mediaplus Suisse as the leading address for innovative and data-driven media planning in Switzerland. Together with Nathalie and our strong team, we aim to consistently lead the agency into its next stage of development.»

Nathalie Diethelm, CEO Serviceplan Group Suisse, says: «I would like to thank Pascal for the inspiring collaboration of recent years and for his tireless commitment to Mediaplus Suisse. I fully understand his decision to take a break after 16 intense years in the industry and wish him nothing but the best—both personally and professionally! Now I look forward to the new leadership duo with Sarah. We complement each other perfectly, both professionally and personally, and we share the same vision for Mediaplus Suisse. Together, we want to inspire our clients even more with innovative, data‑driven, and sustainable media solutions.»

Pascal Fröhli will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
