Serviceplan appoints Pablo Koerfer as CEO. He also becomes a partner and acquires a stake in the agency.
The House of Communication Zurich is expanding its leadership team with Pablo Koerfer as CEO of Serviceplan, strengthening the agency with an experienced executive and strong strategic consulting expertise. Koerfer joins as a partner: «Serviceplan is independent and entirely owner-managed, with a truly lived partnership model. The opportunity to commit myself entrepreneurially was a decisive factor for me.»
After positions at Euro RSCG (now HAVAS) and Advico Young & Rubicam / Y&R Group, Pablo Koerfer joined Rod Kommunikation as partner and managing director, where he and his partners built the agency into one of the country’s most influential agencies. Following the sale of the agency to Farner, he joined the management board and assumed the role of Co-CEO.
Pablo Koerfer studied marketing and advertising in London and completed an EMBA at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He lives in Zurich with his family.
After leaving Farner and Rod, Pablo Koerfer took a one-year break.
«The sabbatical year did me an incredible amount of good and, with some distance, showed me just how much I miss agency life with its wide variety of clients and employees. I’m very much looking forward to the exciting mandates, all the new colleagues, and especially to developing groundbreaking campaigns together with Chief Creative Officer Raul Serrat.»
Nathalie Diethelm, CEO of House of Communication Zurich, is also looking forward to the collaboration: «I am convinced that Pablo is a perfect fit for us and will ideally complement the management team. His expertise, his instinct for innovative communication, and his entrepreneurial mindset are a real asset to our team and our clients.»
What convinces Koerfer about the Serviceplan Group is the agency DNA of «Creative + Media + Technology,» with the goal of achieving the greatest possible impact for clients and their communication challenges.
«Serviceplan is forward-looking. As the first agency group, it has standardized all key workflows with AI and is making substantial investments in technology through its partnership with Luma AI. I have seen many agencies and have come to the conclusion that, in terms of technology, the Serviceplan Group is at least one step ahead of the competition,» Koerfer explains.
