CMO of the Year award: finalists announced
6/10/2023
For the second year, as part of the CMO Council, Serviceplan is organising the election of the CMO of the Year.
The CMO Council was launched in Munich in 2017 by Serviceplan Group, with the aim of creating an exclusive club made up of the country's most influential CMOs. The concept was exported to Belgium in 2022, where it now includes 80 CMOs from the Best Brands ranking.
The CMO of the Year Award is representative of the entire sector and one of its most prestigious distinctions. It honours the marketing director who is most regarded as the role model for the marketing sector, bringing not only expertise but also many years of experience. The CMO of the Year is elected solely by his or her peers on the CMO Council.
The finalists for the CMO Council 2024 are :
- Valérie Delaby, Senior Marketing Manager, Lay's Europe ;
- José Fernandez, Chief Marketing Officer, D'Ieteren Automotive;
- Isabel Henderick, Managing Director, ALDI Marcom BeLux.
The winner will be announced at a lunch on 22 November, at which the results of Serviceplan's CMO Barometer survey will also be presented.
Nathalie Erdmanis, Director of Sustainability AG Insurance & CMO Council President: "Nobody understands the challenges facing CMOs better than other CMOs. That's why the CMO Council is an exclusive club, a think tank and sometimes even a circle of friends. This is where the country's best marketing directors can communicate openly with each other and where new ideas are developed."
