GINETEX

GINETEX Sustainable with Serviceplan

03.06.2024

GINETEX (International Association for Textile Care Labeling) was established in Paris in 1963. This association developed an international labeling system proposing symbols to communicate on textile care. It provides consumers and companies in the textile, fashion, clothing, and decoration sectors with precise instructions on how to care for their products. Based on ISO 3758 standards, the GINETEX symbols used in this process help prevent any irreversible damage to the items and contribute to an increasingly relevant sustainability approach.

This textile care labeling system based on symbols is regularly updated to reflect the latest technical and ecological developments, as well as evolving consumer practices. In this context, GINETEX has engaged Serviceplan for the redesign of its visual identity and communication materials, including the graphic charter, its Technical Regulations, among others.
