The monks of Affligem Abbey return to the limelight

On Monday April 8, Affligem beer will launch a new national press and poster campaign in support of its range of blonde and carmine beers, again in collaboration with its agency Serviceplan.

For this new campaign, the famous Affligem beer has decided to capitalize on the communications territory imagined by Serviceplan in 2016: an original graphic universe that has proven its impact and effectiveness.

Thus, this second opus continues to honor the famous Benedictine monks of Affligem Abbey, represented in the form of period engravings, by associating them with the image of this unique Belgian beer, the secret of which they have held for over 1,000 years. In these four new visuals, the monks display more facetious expressions, an evolution towards greater connivance that is also expressed in the new tagline: "Nearly 1000 years old, and still in taste".

The billboard campaign will be deployed throughout France in premium 320x240 and 120x176 formats, as well as in digital formats.

The visuals support the original cuvée blonde and the cuvée carmin with its natural cherry/raspberry/strawberry aroma.
