Wien Nord Serviceplan is the new lead agency of Österreich Werbung.

The Viennese creative agency was able to prevail in a multi-stage tendering process and will be breaking new ground in communication together with Österreich Werbung in the future.
After several years without a lead agency, Österreich Werbung launched the search for a full-service agency in a Europe-wide tender in December 2022 in order to realign the brand holistically. Wien Nord Serviceplan has already successfully communicated for tourism companies such as WienTourismus and currently for Burgenland Tourismus, implementing some of the most successful national campaigns in recent years. Now the creative agency from the House of Communication Vienna is joining forces with Österreich Werbung to tackle the challenges of changing travel and experience behavior in a post-pandemic era.
Markus Mazuran, Managing Partner at Wien Nord Serviceplan, comments:
"New demands for individual as well as sustainable vacation design, soft tourism, economically challenging times and the omnipresent topic of A.I.: tourism is a mirror of current social developments and a one-fits-all approach in destination communication can no longer meet the rapidly changing requirements. We are delighted that we were able to convince the Austrian National Tourist Office with a future-proof and bold concept that clearly and confidently differentiates Austria as a travel destination."
"I am delighted that Wien Nord Serviceplan will act as our new full-service agency for creation and communication for the next few years. Wien Nord Serviceplan knows how to capture the current zeitgeist and develop innovative approaches that will help us to present Austria in a differentiated way in the international environment. The decision to choose Wien Nord Serviceplan as our partner reflects our ambition to break new ground in communication and to present Austria with charisma and courage. The new approach and appearance will be presented at ITB 2024 in Berlin. I am very much looking forward to our future collaboration and am convinced that together we will generate enthusiasm for Austria," says Astrid Steharnig-Staudinger, Managing Director of Austrian National Tourist Office.
The result of the collaboration, which starts in July, will be on display from spring 2024.
