Plan.Net brings Hemtex to Germany

The Plan.Net Group is supporting Hemtex, Scandinavia's leading retailer of interior design and furniture, as it enters the German market. An interdisciplinary team is responsible for launching the brand and its e-commerce presence. The online shop is scheduled to go live in fall 2025.

 

Munich, July 14, 2025 — The collaboration as an international and interdisciplinary team ultimately tipped the scales: Plan.Net Group will support Hemtex in its expansion into Germany. Following a soft launch phase, the Scandinavian interior design chain's e-commerce shop is set to go live in fall 2025.

Hemtex stands for Scandinavian living and lifestyle, timeless design at affordable prices, and seasonal interior design trends. Founded in Norway in 1937, the brand is now part of the Kid ASA Group and, with around 280 stores in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia, is Scandinavia's largest interior design and textile retailer.

Following successful expansion into neighboring countries, the brand is now set to launch in Germany – its first market outside Scandinavia and the Baltic region. The Plan.Net Group has put together a team that combines market expertise with a deep cultural understanding. The team also brings together all the disciplines needed for a successful expansion: in addition to consulting, the team is responsible for media strategy and planning, search strategy including SEA and SEO optimization, social performance, and the development of the online business.
