Dawid Dobosz is a Polish-born artist based in Amsterdam whose interdisciplinary practice spans performance, sculpture, installation, and image-making. His work explores transformation and entropy through material processes, bringing technological advancements and natural materials into situations shaped by change, decay, and instability. Dobosz uses these processes as means of production but also as subjects to observe and archive. The actions, transformations, and traces which emerge through this approach form both the conceptual and formal basis of his work. He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and completed an exchange at Seika University in Kyoto. His work has been shown, among others, at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Noorderlicht Biennale, W139, M4gastatelier, Treehouse, PAKT Foundation, and Gallery Terras-S Kyoto.
