Jonghwan Jeong works with familiar images, forms, objects, and movements — taking them out of their original context and placing them into new material and visual relationships. Working across multiple mediums, he recombine and rearrange existing forms to explore the space between recognition and reinterpretation. Rather than assigning fixed meaning, their work uses arrangement and transformation to generate situations in which meaning can shift, overlap, and multiply.
