Shai Datauker (b. 1998) is a conceptual artist whose work interrogates the paradoxes of technological consumer culture. Born from equal parts fascination and suspicion, his practice uses reduction and replication to transform digital frustration into tactile contemplation, spanning installations, recontextualised ready-mades, and painting. Treating design tools not only as instruments of innovation but also as mirrors of cultural excess, his work gives form to its central contradiction: the cycle of creating and erasing, while consuming and being consumed.
