Sofie Maxime Schwab (1997) was born, raised, and educated in Amsterdam, where she continues to live and work.

As a multidisciplinary maker, she brings traditional craft techniques into a contemporary art and design practice, with a particular expertise in textiles and weaving. Through her work, she translates narratives and everyday impressions into tactile forms, exploring themes of time, memory, and transformation. Her working method is both systematic and intuitive, combining technical development with poetic exploration.
