Geizhals: Communicate much better with Mediaplus & AANDRS

The focus is on a new claim that summarizes all the advantages of the online price comparison portal.

 

For over 20 years now, geizhals.at has been the first port of call for many local bargain hunters when they want to compare the prices of products. The site is now one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the German-speaking world. However, Geizhals not only wants to improve the price, but also the comparison and search function. The result: a much better shopping experience.

 

A large-scale campaign, designed and executed by the media experts at Mediaplus Austria, is intended to communicate exactly that.

 

"So much better"

 

The focus is on the newly developed claim "Much better!", which summarizes all the advantages of Geizhals. Posters and digital assets were developed under this claim to make the whole of Austria aware that it is better to go for the very best and not the first best offer. The claim also goes hand in hand with a completely new communication line developed by the agency AANDRS. The campaign is now on air. New TV commercials will follow in early summer.

 

"The campaign is the perfect starting signal to attract new users to the platform and turn them into returning users," says Geizhals. The agency AANDRS says of the collaboration: "We also love the best prices, which is why we love geizhals.at! A brand with incredible awareness and incredible heritage, which is very rare in fast-moving times like these."

 

"How do we create the perfect media stage for such a cult brand? With a coordinated mix of streaming media, digital excellence and absolute (D)OOH visibility with the aim of pushing Geizhals' mental availability to top levels, of course," says Bernhard Redl, Managing Partner, Mediaplus Austria.
